<p>JOB SUMMARY:</p> <p>The role of a Warehouse Associate I is to perform tasks such as receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and organizing incoming and outgoing inventory. They are also responsible for performing these functions in accordance to SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) of the company. Successful completion of these duties is an essential component in ensuring company-wide goals and on-time delivery of orders to our valued customers.</p> <p>SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>None </li></ul> <p>DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Complete picking sequences, using an RF (Radio Frequency) unit and deliver orders to their assigned staging area. </li><li>Print production sheets to match the needs of the picked orders. </li><li>Print and place shipping container labels on customer orders appropriately, to identify the proper pathway to the customer. </li><li>Assist with unloading inbound freight and transfers into the building from a truck. </li><li>Breaking down and receiving freight into our WMS (Warehouse Management System) using an RF unit. </li><li>Maintaining an organized work area to ensure accuracy for all involved teammates. </li><li>Additional duties as assigned by Supervisor. </li></ul> <p>MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Performing cycle counts </li><li>Assisting with Return to Stock </li></ul> <p>REQUIRED SKILLS/ABILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent attention to detail </li><li>Ability to follow directions </li><li>Ability to solve problems </li><li>Ability to work in a team environment </li><li>Ability to read, write, and understand English </li><li>Ability to pick orders quickly and accurately in a fast-paced environment </li><li>Ability to count quickly but accurately </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma or equivalent preferred </li><li>Warehouse experience preferred </li></ul> <p>PHYSICAL DEMANDS:</p> <ul> <li>Ability to stand or sit for extended periods of time </li><li>Ability to reach and use hands, fingers, and arms </li><li>Ability to move about the facility </li><li>Ability to climb, bend, kneel, and crouch </li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs </li><li>Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed </li></ul> <p>WORK ENVIRONMENT:</p> <ul> <li>Exposure to moderate noise levels. </li></ul> <p>VISION REQUIREMENT:</p> <ul> <li>Close and distance vision </li><li>Close Vision </li></ul> <p>PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT:</p> <ul> <li>Closed-toe footwear is required when entering the Production Floor (as needed). </li><li>Safety glasses (as needed) </li><li>Safety gloves (as needed) </li></ul> <p>SCHEDULE:</p> <ul> <li>7:00 am - 3:30 pm Monday - Friday with Overtime (Saturday 7 am-noon) as required </li></ul> <p>Ahead, LLC is a socially responsible company and an Equal Opportunity Employer.</p>
