<p>Overview</p> <p>The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting multiple departments in the handling of varied administrative job assignments and tasks, including but not limited to the following:</p> <ul> <li>Create, format and issue technical correspondences to internal and outside organizations based on department employee input </li><li>Coordinate department commitments, conference rooms, conference telephone lines, interviews and new hire onboarding </li><li>Organization and distribution of meeting material in support of weekly meetings </li><li>Manage department managers calendar and schedules </li><li>Manage department facility maintenance and information technology requests and supplies </li><li>Manage department organizational charts, seating, employee databases and evacuation plans </li><li>Employee travel expense reports </li></ul> <p>Position requires supporting the department's core working hours as defined by department Managers and may require evening or weekend support.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>9-12 years professional administrative experience </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent </li><li>Must be able to type 45+ words per minute </li><li>Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance through the Department of Defense </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <ul> <li>Typing skills and, familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook) </li><li>Candidate will be expected to actively contribute in a team environment, and must have a demonstrated history of accepting responsibility and independently completing assignments with minimal oversight </li><li>Ability to manage data- collecting and developing effective status reporting </li></ul>
