<p>Apply</p> <p>Job Type</p> <p>Part-time</p> <p>Description</p> <p>Works as a member of the store team to lead an excellent customer and brand experience, and promote sales for Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay. Responsible for receiving all donations in an expedient, courteous manner and places items in the appropriate location in the production room or sales floor.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Accepts all donations from customers, providing outstanding customer service. </li><li>Responsible for correctly labeling Gaylords. </li><li>Ensures that a receipt is offered to each donor, regardless of the size of the donation. </li><li>Inquires of any potential hazardous product being donated and provides locations list for proper disposal to the customer. </li><li>Writes up sales tickets and sold signs for furniture, electrical, and other large items. </li><li>Assists customers with loading and unloading furniture or other items to and from vehicles. </li><li>Maintains the placement of all merchandise and the organization of the production room by following PPM (picture process map) standards. </li><li>Assists in loading or unloading of merchandise onto/off trucks or trailers, as needed. </li><li>Safely operates pallet jack and walkie stacker. </li><li>Conducts daily safety inspection on all company owned equipment including walkie stackers. Follows and ensures all safety rules are complied with and appropriate safety equipment is used. </li><li>Provides floor care duties at a retail store, as needed. </li><li>Required to cross train in other store positions as business needs. </li><li>Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance. </li><li>Performs other related duties, as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Skills):</p> <ul> <li>Excellent customer service skills </li><li>Ability to pass a forklift certification class </li><li>Ability to speak and read English proficiently </li><li>Must be at least 18 years of age or older </li><li>Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to constantly lift/carry/push/pull at minimum 20 lbs. </li><li>Must be able to frequently lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 lbs. </li><li>Ability to regularly stand, walk, sit, handle items, reach outward, reach above shoulder, climb, crawl, squat, kneel, and bend. </li><li>Reasonable Accommodation Statement: </li><li>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
