<p>Technical/Functional Skills</p> <ul> <li>Proven experience in architecting, building, and deploying scalable test systems and fixture solutions for high-volume manufacturing. </li><li>Strong knowledge of manufacturing test flows including IQC, electrical validation, visual inspection, and end-of-line testing. </li><li>Expertise in defining test strategies, coverage models, and validation frameworks for complex products. </li><li>Advanced failure analysis (FA), triaging, and root cause analysis across electrical, RF, and system-level issues. </li><li>Experience with NPI cycles, including test readiness, commissioning, and ramp-to-production optimization. </li><li>Strong understanding of manufacturability, calibration processes, and Gauge R&R for production reliability. </li><li>Expertise in yield analysis, marginal pass/fail criteria definition, and test limit optimization. </li><li>Exposures to test automation and scripting (Python, LabVIEW, or equivalent frameworks). </li><li>Experience integrating hardware test systems with existing software frameworks. </li><li>System engineering mindset with deep exposure to fixture design (mechanical + electrical integration). </li><li>Hands-on experience with RF test equipment: spectrum analyzers, VNAs, signal generators, power meters, and RF chambers. </li></ul> <p>Roles & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Lead and drive end-to-end test engineering Activities at vendor sites and the ensure the quality of the delivery from vendor engineering / technical team </li><li>Own test fixtures lifecycle: vendor coordination, validation, deployment, and factory performance monitoring. </li><li>Ensure all test systems and fixtures are built, validated, and functioning reliably in production. </li><li>Define and enforce test strategy, methodologies, and paradigms across programs. </li><li>Act as first line of defense for issue triaging, failure debugging, and first-pass failure analysis (FA). </li><li>Conduct and lead cross-functional XF meetings with engineering teams for technical issue resolution. </li><li>Ensure compliance with EE aspects such as power supply validation, signal integrity, and IQC processes. </li><li>Drive manufacturability improvements, calibration readiness, and test process maturity. </li><li>Plan and execute test coverage, test preparation, and commissioning for NPI programs. </li><li>Analyze marginal pass/fail trends and optimize test limits to improve yield and reduce escapes. </li><li>Act as a technical mediator between design, manufacturing, vendors, and customers to reduce engineering cycle time. </li><li>Serve as SPOC (Single Point of Contact) for test-related issues and ensure timely resolution. </li><li>Support Design of Experiments (DoE) to identify root causes and optimize test processes. </li><li>Ensure continuous improvement in test efficiency, robustness, and scalability. </li></ul> <p>Generic Managerial Skills, If any</p> <ul> <li>Strong stakeholder management across vendors, manufacturing teams, and cross-functional engineering groups. </li><li>Program leadership with ability to drive timelines, deliverables, and accountability. </li><li>Effective communication and coordination skills in cross-functional (XF) environments. </li><li>Problem-solving mindset with data-driven decision-making. </li><li>Ability to act as mediator and reduce engineering turnaround time. </li><li>Ownership mindset with attention to detail and quality. </li><li>Exposure for test automation, ATE (nice to have) identification, improving engineering turnaround time. </li><li>Zero or minimal production escapes due to robust test coverage and validation methodologies. </li><li>Smooth NPI transitions with no delays attributed to test readiness or commissioning gaps. </li><li>Calibration and manufacturability processes are standardized and consistently followed across programs. </li><li>Effective cross-functional alignment leading to quicker issue resolution and reduced escalations. </li><li>Continuous improvements in test time, cost efficiency, and process maturity. </li><li>Strong ownership
