<p>Part-Time Monitor for Special Education Program 2025-2026 School Year</p> <p>July 1, 2026</p> <p>Part-Time Monitor for Special Education Program</p> <p>Salary: $21.33 per hour</p> <p>Glen Cove City School District is committed to recruit and hire the most qualified staff members who are dedicated to the success of all students and the Glen Cove City community.</p> <p>Job Description: Appropriately assist students with disabilities in being as independent as possible in a gaining essential knowledge and skills.</p> <p>Qualifications:</p> <p>? High School Diploma</p> <p>? Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and students</p> <p>? Experience working in a public or private school setting preferred</p> <p>? Experience working with students with individualized educational plans a plus</p> <p>? Fingerprinting clearance required</p> <p>Essential Duties (include, but are not limited to):</p> <p>? Complete an assignment for an individual student program or a class program</p> <p>? Implement and track behavior plans</p> <p>? Assist with the de-escalation of student(s) who are in crisis under the direction of a mental health professional</p> <p>? Supervise and secure the safety of student(s) who are at-risk for elopement, aggression, physical injury, and/or any other at-risk behavior as identified by the Committee on Special Education</p> <p>? Ability to support a program outside of Special Education in the capacity of a monitor</p> <p>?
