The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and committed to producing high-quality finished products. You will be responsible for set-up, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of finishing equipment to ensure jobs are completed efficiently, accurately, and on schedule.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Set up and operate the Delta Modtek Finishing Press to meet production specifications and quality standards. </li><li>Interpret job tickets, work orders, and technical specifications to ensure proper finishing processes. </li><li>Perform routine machine maintenance and basic repairs to ensure optimal performance. </li><li>Monitor print quality, registration, die-cut accuracy, and overall product appearance during production. </li><li>Adjust machine settings for different substrates, finishes, laminates, and die requirements. </li><li>Collaborate with prepress, press, and quality control teams to resolve production issues. </li><li>Maintain accurate production records and complete all required documentation. </li><li>Ensure compliance with safety standards, company policies, and industry best practices. </li><li>Assist in training new operators and sharing best practices with team members. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required; technical training in printing or finishing preferred. </li><li>2+ years of experience operating finishing equipment, preferably Delta Modtek or similar machinery. </li><li>Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Ability to read and interpret job tickets, technical drawings, and quality standards. </li><li>Attention to detail and commitment to producing top-quality work. </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. </li><li>Willingness to work flexible shifts, including overtime when required. </li></ul> <p>Physical Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods. </li><li>Manual dexterity for precise adjustments and handling materials. </li><li>Good vision and color perception to ensure print and finish quality. </li></ul> <p>Equal Employment Opportunity Statement</p> <p>Inovar Packaging Group, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
