<p>Current Position Openings - FT Associate Dean of NursingPosition Title: FT Associate Dean of Nursing</p> <p>Position Classification: Full-Time Administration</p> <p>Minimum Position Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Education - Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field and at least five (5) years of relevant work experience is required; Doctorate Degree with three (3) years of relevant work experience is preferred.</p> </li><li> <p>Experience - Minimum two (2) years teaching experience in a nursing education program; minimum one (1) year of experience in higher education administration at the director level or equivalent required; possession of an active registered nurse (RN) license or the ability to obtain a Pennsylvania registered nurse (RN) license within six (6) months of employment.</p> </li><li> <p>Skills - Demonstrated leadership in curriculum development, assessment, and faculty mentoring; knowledge of nursing education standards, accreditation requirements, and clinical education models; strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work effectively with a wide range of constituencies in a diverse community; ability to supervise, train, and evaluate employees, including organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments; skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications; knowledge of instructional curriculum, teaching methods, and best practices.</p> </li></ul> <p>Position Responsibilities:</p> <p>Assist the Dean of Nursing and Health Sciences in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing program; support curriculum development, revision, and assessment in alignment with Board of Nursing requirements and accreditation standards; ensure instructional quality and consistency across all nursing courses and delivery methods (in-person, hybrid, virtual, simulation, and clinical); make recommendations regarding the hiring, discipline, termination, and problem resolution of faculty and staff, subject to collective bargaining agreements; collaborate with dean to supervise faculty and staff assigned to nursing program, including assigning work and schedules, approving leave, and conducting performance evaluations, in accordance with College policies and collective bargaining agreements; promote student readiness for licensure and workforce entry; collaborate with faculty and enrollment management to support student retention, progression, and completion; represent the nursing program in community, workforce, and advisory meetings as assigned; foster a supportive academic environment; assist in addressing student academic concerns, appeals, and clinical performance issues in accordance with College policies; participate in College committees, tasks forces, and governance activities as assigned; other related duties as assigned.</p> <p>Entry Salary: $79,662.39/ annual</p> <p>Standard Work Week: 35 hours</p> <p>Apply End Date: March 8, 2026.</p>
