<p>Job Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Prepares a docket for cases to be heard by the hearing officer. </li><li>Notify accusers/witnesses of their need to be available for the hearing; Ensure all hearing recordings are accounted for and secured for future use; Maintain a disciplinary file on each case from the Hearing officer and major/responsible authority. </li><li>Ensure all sanctions are entered into the automated system within two (2) working days; Distribute SCDC incident report, disciplinary report hearing record and inmate disciplinary system informed/administrative resolution and supporting documents to central records, institutional records when appropriate, financial accounting within fourteen (14) working days after the hearing is completed. </li><li>Prepare and submit reports as required to the hearing officer and/or the Division of Operations. </li><li>All inmate's requests should be responded to within 45 calendar days or earlier if the inmate request employee witnesses or documentary evidence for disciplinary hearings. </li></ul> <p>Must successfully complete four (4) weeks of SCDC Basic Training upon hire.</p> <p>Questions regarding the application process, this job posting or any other postings with the SCDC should be directed to:</p> <p>Recruiting and Employment Services</p> <p>(803) 896-1649</p> <p>Employment@doc.sc.gov</p> <p>Minimum and Additional Requirements</p> <p>State of South Carolina Minimum Requirements:</p> <p>A high school diploma.
