The ideal candidate will possess expertise in healthcare IT systems, regulatory compliance, and the fast-paced, critical nature of acute care settings.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Oversee the end-to-end implementation of technology solutions tailored to acute care hospitals, such as Electronic Health Records (EHR), computerized physician order entry (CPOE), and clinical decision support systems (CDSS). </li><li>Collaborate with hospital leadership, clinical teams, IT departments, and external vendors to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables. </li><li>Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards, including HIPAA, Joint Commission requirements, and state-specific guidelines. </li><li>Develop and manage detailed project plans, budgets, and timelines specific to the acute care setting, factoring in shift schedules and critical care operations. </li><li>Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruption to patient care during technology rollouts. </li><li>Facilitate training sessions and change management strategies to ensure smooth adoption by clinical staff and hospital employees. </li><li>Monitor project outcomes, documenting lessons learned to continuously improve project delivery in acute care environments. </li></ul> <p>What you'll need:</p> <p>Education: Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, information technology, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).</p> <p>Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years managing projects in acute care hospital settings; strong track record of successful implementations.</p> <p>Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required; familiarity with Agile, Scrum, or Lean methodologies is a plus.</p> <p>Additional:</p> <ul> <li>Expertise in acute care workflows, excellent leadership and problem-solving capabilities, proficiency in project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira). </li><li>Adaptable, detail-oriented, and capable of handling high-pressure environments with a focus on patient-centered outcomes. </li></ul> <p>Why choose us:</p> <p>As a team member of the Health Support Center, our goal is to support those that are in our facilities who are interfacing and providing care to our patients and community members.
