Supervise the work of facilities and maintenance employees in the maintenance of all production and facilities equipment to include, electrical, plumbing, mechanical and related systems.</p> <p>How you'll make an impact:</p> <ul> <li>Supervising and overseeing staff to ensure failures in equipment are appropriately repaired and ensuring corrective actions are taken, including conducting and writing impact assessment reports of incidents, exception work orders (EWOs), Equipment Non-conformance Reports (ENCRs), and Out of Tolerance (OOTs), while establishing objectives in support of the company's strategy for the department. </li><li>Leading complex improvement projects and the evaluation of existing processes while identifying opportunities for improvement and optimal operations in collaboration with key stakeholders (e.g. Quality, Engineering). </li><li>Identifying issues, reviewing capacity requirements and maintenance procedures for accuracy, providing recommendations for improvement to management and implement resolutions. </li><li>Leading the review and ensuring team members perform check list actions for all equipment in compliance with established work instructions and adherence with SOPs, including recording traceable information on device history records and enters information into appropriate system. </li><li>Transferring knowledge to team members to improve troubleshooting skills as well as anticipate issues that may occur. </li><li>Overseeing the maintenance activities and delivery on team performance metrics. </li><li>Ensuring employees are trained, certified, and adhere to EH&S policies and procedures including OHSA regulations. </li><li>Ensuring staff are trained and qualified, maintain time keeping and time away from work. </li><li>Other incidental duties. </li></ul> <p>What you'll need (Required):</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in related field with 4 years maintenance experience in a regulated environment Required. </li><li>Previous related experience with full responsibility for all personnel including hire/fire authority and handling all aspects of employee relations Required. </li><li>Project management experience Required. </li><li>Previous experience working in a medical device industry Preferred. </li></ul> <p>What else we look for (Preferred):</p> <ul> <li>Proven expertise in Microsoft Office Suite with working knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, preferably JDE. </li><li>Excellent communication and interpersonal relationship skills; possessing strong collaboration skills in partnering with cross functional stakeholders in order to achieve objectives, as well as mediating differences to achieve consensus. </li><li>Full understanding of maintenance procedures and related equipment. </li><li>Full knowledge of Good Manufacturing and Good Documentation Practices supporting a pharmaceutical or medical device environment. </li><li>Full knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts and Six Sigma. </li><li>Ability to supervise/lead employees in a maintenance environment. </li><li>Ability to analyze and identify potential downtime improvements. </li><li>Ability to work and excel within a fast paced, dynamic, and constantly changing work environment. </li><li>Ability to respond to off hours breakdowns, provide leadership to assemble a team and provide trouble shooting guidance. </li><li>Ability to interface and communicate with outside vendors for work to be performed. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to supervise teams and provide coaching and feedback, including responsibility for all employee actions including hire/fire authority and partnering with HR on all aspects of employee relations. </li><li>Adhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/control. </li></ul> <p>Aligning our overall business objectives with performance, we offer competitive salaries, performance-based incentives, and a wide variety of benefits programs to address the diverse individual needs of our employees and their families.</p> <p>For California (CA, the base pay range for this position is $106,000 to $149,000 (highly experienced).</p> <p>The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
