<p>AbelCine, a premier provider of equipment and technology solutions for the broadcast, production, and new media industries, is seeking a Post Production Project Manager for a short-term opportunity supporting a high-profile client in Midtown Manhattan. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, is highly organized, and has strong experience managing post workflows across multiple content types.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Manage intake of new post-production requests, ensuring all deliverables, formats, and aspect ratios are clearly defined </li><li>Partner with Production Managers and stakeholders to confirm scope and requirements </li><li>Ensure post teams have all necessary reference materials (briefs, papercuts, design assets), escalating gaps as needed </li><li>Coordinate daily with Media Management to ensure footage is ingested and ready for edit </li><li>Own and maintain post-production schedules across branded, corporate, and social content </li><li>Track deliverables and timelines, ensuring projects stay on schedule and adjusting as needed </li><li>Consolidate and communicate feedback to editors and motion designers </li><li>Capture and manage feedback during live and work review sessions </li><li>Build and maintain Smartsheet dashboards for tracking, reporting, and stakeholder visibility </li><li>Collaborate with Production and Post leadership to manage workflows and improve processes </li><li>Forecast post-production needs and support resource planning </li><li>Manage editor, animator, and freelancer assignments and bandwidth </li><li>Source and onboard freelance post talent and vendors as needed </li><li>Lead post-production status meetings and kickoff calls </li><li>Track project completion and ensure proper documentation and updates </li><li>Identify risks, bottlenecks, and workflow improvements </li></ul> <p>What We're Looking For</p> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in post-production coordination or project management </li><li>Strong understanding of post workflows across video, branded, and social content </li><li>Experience working with editors, motion designers, and external vendors </li><li>Highly organized with strong project management and communication skills </li><li>Experience with Smartsheet (or similar tools) preferred </li><li>Ability to manage multiple projects and shifting priorities </li><li>Comfortable working onsite in a fast-paced, collaborative environment </li></ul> <p>Engagement Details:</p> <ul> <li>Engagement: Temporary Full-Time Employment </li><li>Project Dates: April 8th, 2026 - Mid-End of May, 2026 </li><li>Location: Onsite - Midtown Manhattan </li><li>Classification: Non-Exempt </li><li>Schedule: Monday through Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM </li><li>Location: New York, NY </li><li>Compensation: $2,500-weekly </li></ul> <p>At AbelCine, we believe in fostering a diverse, inclusive, and collaborative work environment.
