The more you participate, the more you earn! </li></ul> <p>Description:</p> <p>This new position will be responsible for supporting purchasing optimization efforts within our growing retail and specialty pharmacy network. The incumbent will work closely with existing Pharmacy Strategic Value Analysts and pharmacy leadership to apply existing processes and principles supporting other pharmacy settings today to deliver pharmaceutical expense savings. This position is eligible for hybrid schedule including remote work.</p> <p>This role contributes to the ongoing achievement of the organization's clinical, financial, and service goals through the application of clinical or operational expertise to material resource and change management. Consistently performs daily activities related to the acquisition and disposal of medication product and services. Applies knowledge to the established value analysis process; product utilization reviews and product change management processes' and serves as a liaison between System Pharmacy Logistics and Purchasing and local pharmacies. Identifies opportunities and makes recommendations to lead change, improving financial, clinical, and patient outcomes and facilitates interactions between clinical and non-clinical staff. Researches and responds to daily inquiries regarding current business applications, systems, or processes from internal and external customers in a courteous, professional, and timely manner. Coordinates with our vendors partners to ensure proactive supply monitoring and initiates countermeasures when product disruptions are discovered. Supports and collaborates with facility operations inventory control. Research trends and generates detailed reports to aid in decision making. Serves as a resource for all levels of management in reporting, understanding, and analyzing department financial performance data.</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors Degree required. Masters Degree preferred. </li><li>Indiana Pharmacy Technician License is required. </li><li>Pharmacy Technician National Certification is required. </li><li>5-7 years relevant experience is required. </li><li>Requires working knowledge in business application computer skills, PCs, and Microsoft Office Suite. </li><li>Absence of criminal history in regards to drugs is required. </li><li>Full proficiency as a pharmacy technician is required. </li><li>Ability to work within established procedures under limited supervision is required. </li></ul>
