<p>Job Title: Production Associate/Technician: Drummer</p> <p>Reports to: Production Supervisor</p> <p>Date: 2024</p> <p>Starting Pay:</p> <ul> <li>$18/hour to start </li><li>$19/hour after 90 days </li></ul> <p>Schedule:</p> <ul> <li>Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM </li><li>8-hour shifts </li><li>Overtime available as needed </li></ul> <p>SUMMARY</p> <p>The Production Associate/Technician are an hourly position, reporting to the Production Supervisor. This position is first shift Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm with overtime as needed. Production Associate/Technician is accountable for assisting the manufacturing process which includes filling drums, labeling products, and may include the use of a forklift.</p> <p>Principal Duties and Responsibilities- Drumming of Materials and Dispensing of Product:</p> <ul> <li>Ensure a consistent and quality product of material produced </li><li>Procedures must be followed including exact quantities produced and dispensed. </li><li>Proper labelling of drums / totes </li><li>Proper dispensing of finished goods products into 55 gallon drums </li><li>Proper palletizing and banding of drums </li><li>Follow loading instructions </li><li>Proper labeling of all products with production information and date </li><li>Use of hand tools including a drum torque wrench </li><li>Autonomously drive the process to ensure production and quality targets are met on a daily basis </li><li>Detailed organization through reading instruments and accurately recording readings </li><li>Received adequate training and fully understand manufacturing procedures </li><li>At times re-labeling of incoming material will be required </li><li>Assisting with quarterly Inventory count </li><li>Must complete safety and all other trainings as assigned </li><li>All other duties as assigned by Leadership </li></ul> <p>SKILLS AND ABILITIES</p> <p>The employee should hold the following abilities:</p> <ul> <li>Must be able to comply with all safety/work/procedures, rules and regulations </li><li>Must complete safety and all other trainings as assigned </li><li>Must be able to read, write, and speak English </li><li>Must have to ability to do basic mathematical calculations </li><li>Must have the ability to multi-task </li><li>Must work well in team environment and work independently </li><li>Must be able to maintain a safe and clean work environment </li></ul> <p>EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE</p> <p>The employee should have the following:</p> <ul> <li>Minimum high school diploma or equivalent is required </li><li>1 years of manufacturing experience or related experience and/or training in an industrial environment </li><li>Preferred: 1 year forklift operating experience </li><li>Must be 18 years or older </li><li>Must be a US citizen or have the right to work in the US </li><li>Must be drug and alcohol free </li></ul> <p>ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT</p> <p>This position requires:</p> <ul> <li>Standing for prolonged periods of time, over 8 hours if required </li><li>Work overtime, as needed </li></ul> <p>Nearest Major Market: Chicago</p>
