<p>LTS - 3rd Grade Elementary Teacher</p> <p>The vision of the Arlington Public Schools is to be an equitable educational community where all learners feel a sense of belonging, experience growth and joy, and are empowered to shape their own futures and contribute to a better world.</p> <p>POSITION: 3rd Grade LTS</p> <p>LOCATION: Thompson Elementary School</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>Licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education as an elementary teacher (preferred) </li><li>SEI Endorsement preferred. </li><li>Experience working with students at the elementary level. </li></ul> <p>OVERVIEW:</p> <p>The Thompson Elementary School is accepting applications from applicants interested in teaching 3rd grade as a long-term substitute beginning approximately February 9, 2026 through approximately May 4, 2026.</p> <p>Candidates for this 3rd grade teaching position should be appropriately licensed for the position. Candidates must also be collaborative professionals who will work with grade level teams and regular and special educators throughout the school and district. Must love working with children and be willing to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students in the classroom.
