This role bridges the gap between pre-construction planning and on-site delivery by proactively identifying risks, verifying conditions, and overseeing installation activities.</p> <p>The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically proficient, highly organized, and comfortable operating independently in active construction and client environments.</p> <p>Essential Duties and Responsibilities:</p> <p>Pre-Installation & Site Validation</p> <ul> <li>Perform and document comprehensive site surveys to validate delivery path of travel (access points, elevators, stairs, loading docks, restrictions) and site readiness. </li><li>Conduct field measurements and verify existing site conditions that may impact installation. </li><li>Field verify power and data locations, floor cores, ceiling conditions, wall conditions, and structural backing. </li><li>Document existing furniture inventory and reuse plans. </li><li>Identify and document discrepancies between drawings and field conditions. </li><li>Upload detailed survey reports, photos, and markups into PlanGrid / Autodesk Build and/or other software as needed (Excel, Airtable) </li><li>Proactively communicate risks and required corrective actions to Project Managers, Design or other team members identified. </li></ul> <p>Pre-Installation Coordination</p> <ul> <li>Participate in internal project handoff meetings. </li><li>Review drawings, specifications, and installation instructions. </li><li>Collaborate with PMs, Sales, Designers, and Installers to confirm scope alignment, site readiness, delivery logistics, and installation sequencing. </li><li>Track site-readiness milestones and field action items. </li><li>Participate in Pre-Installation meetings with internal team and labor partner. </li></ul> <p>On-Site Delivery & Installation Oversight</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the on-site lead during delivery and installation. </li><li>Verify product staging areas and final placement alignment with drawings. </li><li>Ensure installers follow approved plans and safety standards. </li><li>Coordinate with general contractors, electricians, IT teams, building management, and client representatives as determined by project team. </li><li>Resolve field issues in real time while protecting project schedule and margin. </li><li>Document any scope changes, field modifications, or additional work requirements. </li></ul> <p>Punch & Closeout</p> <ul> <li>Conduct punch walks with client and internal teams. </li><li>Document punch items in Autodesk Build / PlanGrid with photos and location references. </li><li>Track completion of punch items to closure. </li><li>Verify final installation quality and completeness. </li><li>Support warranty documentation and closeout packages. </li></ul> <p>Technology & Tools</p> <ul> <li>PlanGrid / Autodesk Build - site documentation, markups, punch tracking </li><li>Microsoft 365 - Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, SharePoint </li><li>Smartsheet - schedule tracking, task management, reporting </li></ul> <p>Insidesource Core Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Exemplify Insidesource values of Team First, Client Led, Change Makers, Experience Focused. </li><li>Participate in All Company Meetings and Regional Town Halls. </li><li>Embody diversity, equity, and inclusion in our Insider community and business practices. </li></ul> <p>Supervisory Responsibilities</p> <p>None</p> <p>Skills, Knowledge, Experience Required</p> <ul> <li>3+ years' experience in commercial furniture installation, construction field management, or related environment </li><li>Strong understanding of commercial interiors, delivery logistics, and electrical/data coordination </li><li>Ability to read and interpret construction documents </li><li>Strong written and verbal communication skills </li><li>High attention to detail and documentation discipline </li><li>Ability to work in fast-paced, active construction environments </li><li>Field leadership and presence </li><li>Proactive risk identification </li><li>Problem-solving under pressure </li><li>Client-facing professionalism </li><li>Strong organizational and follow-through skills </li><li>Accountability and ownership mindset </li></ul> <p>The anticipated salary range for this role is $80-95K.
