Join our Stations Structural team and design the structures that keep energy flowing safely and reliably.</p> <p>The Role</p> <p>You'll partner with lead engineers and collaborate with in-house and client engineering/design teams to deliver station projects with minimal direction. This is a hands-on, project-facing role where you own structural scope-from concept through steel delivery and field support.</p> <p>Primary Duties & Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Design support structures, systems, and equipment adapters driven by electrical arrangement drawings </li><li>Engineer foundations (piers, slabs, etc.) using site data, calculated loads, and tools such as LPile </li><li>Develop civil scopes from one-line diagrams, electrical layouts, and site plans in collaboration with electrical designers </li><li>Review structural design drawings, fabricator details, and project documents for compliance with design theory, specified materials, and applicable codes/standards </li><li>Recommend improvements to designs, drawings, and documentation to enhance constructability and performance </li><li>Coordinate schedules with project managers and designers to ensure on-time steel delivery </li><li>Create material requisitions; work with steel fabricators to validate lead times and costs so the right steel is ordered and delivered per schedule </li><li>Support the field-perform site walk-downs, assist with construction issues, and review structural practices </li><li>Answer technical questions from electrical designers, fabricators, and construction personnel </li><li>Coordinate submittals across structural and electrical teams to meet project milestones </li><li>Contribute to construction documents related to project schedules </li><li>Collaborate under the guidance of higher-level engineers while growing into increased ownership </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience Requirements</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution </li><li>5+ years of structural engineering, analysis, and foundation design </li></ul> <p>Benefits & Compensation</p> <p>We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on legitimate business factors unrelated to any protected classification.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on job classification and length of employment.
