This role is responsible for scheduling, assigning, and overseeing production tasks to ensure efficiency, safety, and adherence to company policies and procedures. The ideal candidate will play a key role in promoting continuous improvement, maintaining high-quality standards, and fostering a positive team environment.</p> <p>Essential Functions and Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Plan, schedule, and assign daily work activities to production staff. </li><li>Ensure compliance with all manufacturing policies, procedures, and safety protocols. </li><li>Train, coach, and support team members to reinforce best practices and improve performance. </li><li>Monitor product quality and ensure standards are consistently met. </li><li>Identify and implement opportunities to reduce waste and improve operational efficiency. </li><li>Develop and drive corrective and preventive actions to address safety, quality, or production issues. </li><li>Lead and participate in continuous improvement initiatives. </li><li>Report maintenance needs and equipment issues to the appropriate team. </li><li>Promote and maintain clean, organized work areas in accordance with good housekeeping standards. </li><li>Provide consistent feedback to employees regarding performance and development. </li><li>Foster a collaborative, respectful, and safety-focused work environment. </li><li>Ensure the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and enforce safety compliance </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED required. </li><li>1-5 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate diverse teams. </li><li>Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills. </li><li>Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. </li><li>Basic math and analytical skills preferred. </li><li>Ability to read and write in English. </li></ul>
