<p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Providing competent care for pediatric surgical patients on a 22 bed inpatient unit, with patient ratios of 1:3-4. Surgical specialties include orthopedics, general surgery, trauma, ORL, and plastic surgery. </li><li>Working collaboratively to provide family-centered care as a member of a multidisciplinary team that delivers expert care. </li><li>Attending to the full range of human experiences and responses to health and illness without restriction to a problem-focus orientation. </li><li>Providing a caring relationship that facilitates health and healing. </li><li>Working 36 hours per week, rotating days/nights and every third weekend. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications</p> <p>Education:</p> <p>BSN required</p> <p>Experience:</p> <ul> <li>A Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing. </li><li>A minimum of 1 year of inpatient acute RN experience; 2 years strongly preferred. </li><li>Pediatric or surgical experience strongly preferred. </li></ul> <p>Licensure/ Certifications:</p> <ul> <li>Massachusetts RN Licensure </li></ul> <p>The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.</p> <p>Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
