They help build ideas in the world, and they leave something behind.</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>The Account Director is a senior client partner and integral leader within an integrated agency team, responsible for aligning strategy, creative, media, and delivery teams around shared client business objectives. This role focuses on orchestrating cross-functional collaboration, strengthening client and external relationships, and ensuring cohesive, high-quality execution across all agency touchpoints. This role will chip in to a global team and way-of-working.</p> <p>Serving as the primary client lead, the Account Director manages business relationships, acting as the connective tissue between clients and internal teams. The role emphasizes careful planning, integration with media partners, operational rigor, financial oversight, and partnership development and growth-rather than hands-on creative development or production management.</p> <p>The Account Director is accountable for quality of service, alignment across teams, and on-time, on-budget delivery. They develop an environment where integrated teams collaborate seamlessly together, ensuring ideas, strategy, and execution are aligned to client goals and measurable outcomes.</p> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Act as the primary client lead within an global integrated agency team, ensuring clear alignment across all internal teams and external agencies </li><li>Provide regular client business updates to internal teams, translating client priorities into coordinated, cross-disciplinary action </li><li>Partner with finance and program management on monthly burn reporting, forecasting, and resource utilization across integrated teams </li><li>Ensure clarity of project scope, deliverables, and timelines, maintaining alignment across teams throughout the lifecycle of work </li><li>Collaborate with Strategy and Comms Planning to shape and finalize briefs that reflect integrated thinking and shared objectives </li><li>Lead integrated agency team relationships, fostering collaboration, accountability, and consistent communication across functions </li><li>Review and manage monthly hours and staffing plans with clients, ensuring clarity and alignment with integrated scopes of work </li><li>Partner with senior leadership and program management on project fee scoping, estimating, and resourcing within an integrated model </li><li>Proactively find opportunities for account growth, expanded scope, and deeper integration of agency capabilities </li><li>Mentor and lead Account Supervisors, reinforcing integrated thinking, client leadership, and cross-functional collaboration </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <ul> <li>High emotional intelligence with the ability to build trust across clients, multidisciplinary teams and external partners </li><li>Strong strategic marketing and integrated-agency perspective, with experience aligning multiple teams around shared goals </li><li>Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams, without direct ownership of creative or production execution </li><li>Skilled at identifying risks, navigating complexity, and driving alignment in fast-moving, integrated environments </li><li>Strong business, financial, and operational foresight </li></ul> <p>ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS</p> <ul> <li>8+ years of agency experience, ideally within an integrated or multidisciplinary agency model </li><li>2-3 years of direct people management experience </li></ul> <p>Additional information</p> <p>Our Publicis Groupe motto "Viva La Différence" means we're better together, and we believe that our differences make us stronger. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. Temporary roles may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met. Temporary roles may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met. For regular roles, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
