<p>Position/Department Summary:</p> <p>Clean/disinfect toys per DEEC regulations. Set up afternoon activities/learning centers and engage in play. Prepare/serve snack. Restock classroom areas as requested. Participate in group/story/circle time. Assist classroom teacher with closing of the classroom each day.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assisting classroom teachers in the care, health, welfare and safety of children 12 weeks - 5 years of age in a group setting. </li><li>Working with a team of teachers, to provide a caring environment where children are safe and secure. </li><li>Cleaning/disinfecting toys per DEEC regulations. </li><li>Setting up afternoon activities/learning centers and engage in play. </li><li>Preparing/serving snack. </li><li>Restocking classroom areas as requested. </li><li>Participating in group/story/circle time. </li><li>Assisting classroom teacher with closing of the classroom each day. </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>At least 18 years of age. </li><li>The ability to exchange information on factual matters, greet visitors, explain hospital policies, and/or relay messages to appropriate personnel. </li><li>Courtesy and tact when dealing with patients, visitors and/or hospital employees. More sensitive situations may be referred to others as appropriate. </li></ul> <p>Shift/Hours:</p> <ul> <li>Part time -15/hours per week. </li><li>Shift/hours: 2:30pm - 6:00pm. </li></ul> <p>Incentives:</p> <ul> <li>Employee Referral Bonus of $2,000.00 </li></ul>
