This position will begin in mid-April 2025 through the end of the school year. The successful candidate will assume full classroom teaching responsibilities and maintain continuity of instruction for students.</p> <p>RESPONSIBILITIES</p> <ul> <li> <p>Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality instruction aligned with district curriculum and New Jersey Student Learning Standards</p> </li><li> <p>Assess student learning and maintain comprehensive records of student progress</p> </li><li> <p>Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of all students</p> </li><li> <p>Establish and maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment</p> </li><li> <p>Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, classroom activities, and concerns</p> </li><li> <p>Collaborate with grade-level team members, support staff, specialists, and administration</p> </li><li> <p>Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, and required school events</p> </li><li> <p>Implement district policies, procedures, and initiatives</p> </li><li> <p>Maintain accurate attendance, grade, and assessment records</p> </li><li> <p>Support students' social-emotional development and character education</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other duties as assigned by building administration</p> </li></ul> <p>QUALIFICATIONS</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Valid New Jersey teaching certificate with appropriate elementary endorsement (P-3, K-6, or equivalent)</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Education or related field from an accredited institution</p> </li><li> <p>Demonstrated expertise in elementary curriculum and developmentally appropriate instructional practices</p> </li><li> <p>Strong classroom management and organizational skills</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment</p> </li><li> <p>Proficiency with educational technology and instructional tools</p> </li><li> <p>Understanding of diverse learning needs and differentiated instruction strategies</p> </li></ul>
