<p>Employment Type:</p> <p>Full time</p> <p>Shift:</p> <p>Day Shift</p> <p>Description:</p> <p>Under the direction of a licensed Pharmacist, the pharmacy technician III works in a clean room compounding medication at least 50% of the time in order to help ensure safe, accurate, and smooth compounding operations.</p> <p>Prescription Compounding, Preparation, & Processing</p> <ul> <li>Assists pharmacist with the preparation and dispensing of medications and supplies in accordance with TH policies & procedures, and in accordance with state regulations & standards. </li><li>Prepares medications so they are accurately compounded. </li><li>Performs basic pharmaceutical calculations in order to obtain correct dosages of medications. </li><li>Accurately labels and packages medications. </li><li>Participates in the process for assessing, managing, and reporting medication related incidents. </li></ul> <p>Site & Supplies/Equipment Maintenance</p> <ul> <li>Ensures pharmacy surfaces and laminar flow hoods are cleaned and sanitized. </li><li>Inspects equipment and documents any equipment failures or defects. </li><li>Assists with recording and maintaining pharmacy temperature & cleaning logs. </li></ul> <p>Our Commitment</p> <p>Rooted in our Mission and Core Values, we honor the dignity of every person and recognize the unique perspectives, experiences, and talents each colleague brings.
