<p>What does the Director of Platform Services do at Swire Coca - Cola?As Director of Platform Services, you will be responsible for building and operating secure, scalable, and reliable platforms that power our business-spanning Application Development, Workday Adaptive Planning, Blue Yonder, the Microsoft Power Platform, and our analytics tooling (incl. Microsoft Fabric, PBI). This role defines the platform strategy and operating model, governs standards and guardrails, and leads cross-functional delivery to accelerate Business outcomes for all, and Enterprise functions.Responsibilities:</p> <p>Set & execute the platform vision - Define a multi-year roadmap across Application Development, Adaptive Planning, Power Platform, and Analytics/Power BI; establish success metrics, capacity plans, and a value realization framework aligned to enterprise priorities Lead a high-performing platform team - Recruit, coach, and develop engineering managers, administrators; cultivate a culture of reliability, security, and continuous improvement; provide clear goals, feedback, and recognition Modern application development enablement - Set reference architectures, reusable components, and API/integration patterns; mature CI/CD and DevSecOps (automated testing, security scans, deployment gates); improve observability and SRE practices (SLOs, error budgets, on-call) Workday Adaptive Planning (planning & forecasting) - Set environment strategy (Prod/Test/Dev/Sandbox), release calendar and change control aligned to forecast/close cycles; oversee integrations, data quality, and access controls Power Platform Center of Excellence (CoE) - Define environment strategy (Dev/Test/Prod/Sandbox), data loss prevention (DLP) policies, solution-based ALM, and monitoring Analytics Platform - Fabric & Power BI - Define tenant/workspace governance, manage capacity (Premium/Fabric), gateways, and performance optimization Blue Yonder - Set environment strategy (Prod/Test/Dev/Sandbox), release calendar and change control aligned to demand & supply cycles; oversee integrations, data quality, and access controls Platform reliability & security - Define and implement availability, resilience, and security posture across platforms; run incident/problem management, disaster recovery, patching, and vulnerability remediation in partnership with Security/GRC and Infrastructure Democratize with guardrails - Deliver/implement self-service frameworks for makers and analysts (patterns, components, guidelines, knowledge base); measure and improve time-to-value while reducing risk Build Business relationships - Maintain trusted relationships with senior leadership and key functions (FP&A/Finance, Data & Analytics, Security, IT Ops, HR, Commercial); translate platform topics into clear business outcomes and executive-ready narratives Own project & budget management - Prioritize roadmaps and backlogs, and lead vendor partners and SOWs to deliver on time and on budget. Manage platform OPEX costs</p> <p>Requirements:</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Systems/Engineering/Business or related required</p> <p>Advanced degree preferred</p> <p>12+ years in enterprise platforms and/or application development with progressive scope and impact required 7+ years leading engineering/platform teams and budgets (including matrixed or remote teams) required 5+ years administering/governing Microsoft Power Platform (environment strategy, DLP, ALM, monitoring, licensing) required 5+ years owning or administering Power BI (tenant/workspace governance, semantic model standards, deployment pipelines, capacity management) required 3+ years owning or closely partnering on Workday Adaptive Planning (model governance, environment/release strategy, integrations/data quality) required Strong DevOps/DevSecOps background (CI/CD, automated testing, code quality gates), with solid understanding of SRE/ITIL practices for production operations Proven vendor/partner management and SOW execution Technical mastery (examples) - Microsoft Azure & Entra ID; Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power Pages, AI features) and Dataverse; Blue Yonder, Power BI/Microsoft Fabric (Premium capacities, gateways); API management/integration patterns; Git/GitHub or Azure DevOps; monitoring (App Insights/Log Analytics); familiarity with Workday Adaptive administration and data integrations</p>
