<p>This Opportunity</p> <p>WSP is searching for a Geomatics Regional Manager to lead the west-central region out of our Tampa, FL office. Come join us and help shape the future!</p> <p>Your Impact</p> <ul> <li>Maintain Responsible charge of all aspects of surveying and geospatial group within the region. </li><li>Oversee the management, planning, scheduling and oversight of multiple surveying and geospatial projects for both internal WSP projects, as well as our external clientele. </li><li>Represent WSP at external meetings, conference, and other business development related activities. </li><li>Administer Contracts and Proposals </li><li>Promote a positive work environment </li><li>Screen and Hire new Team Members </li><li>Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. </li></ul> <p>Who You Are</p> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Licensed Professional Surveyor and Mapper (PSM) in the state of Florida </li><li>Bachelor's or Associates Degree in Surveying, GIS, or a related field (or equivalent experience.) </li><li>10+ years of relevant post-education experience in discipline with prior surveying experience in a corporate environment with easements, rights of way, plats, topographic surveys, boundary surveys, property descriptions, and GPS surveys. </li><li>High-level experience with both public and private sector work (e.g. state, city, county, utility districts, and private land development.) </li><li>Advanced proficiency with/of land survey principles, practices, process, methods and techniques. </li><li>Highly proficient expertise with relevant codes, regulations, compliance practices, and record-keeping requirements. </li><li>Demonstrated technical competence leading and reviewing technical reports, survey mapping efforts, impact evaluations, siting reports, planning scopes, and environmental permit applications for assigned segments/project. </li><li>Ability to work independently and provide guidance and leadership to mid-level to senior level team or project members, with strict adherence to QA/QC. </li><li>Experienced with providing critical review for documents and preparing technical deliverables and surveys with a high degree of complexity. </li><li>Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies. </li></ul> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Master's Degree is preferred. </li><li>Additional State PLS/PSM Licensures (Georgia, Alabama, Puerto Rico) </li><li>Experience with Remote Sensing Project Delivery and Planning </li></ul> <p>#LI-MC1</p>
