<p>Verisk is seeking a Global Protection Services Specialist to join our Global Protection Services (GPS) team in Lehi, UT, where we have a flexible hybrid work model. This role reports directly to Corporate GPS. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with the enterprise's health, safety, and security policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be tasked with reviewing global intelligence feeds for safety/security incidents that may affect Verisk employees, travelers, and facilities. You will be responsible for regional access control, security alerts, and the implementation of proactive strategies aligned with GPS's overall mission. The successful candidate will assist in investigations and policy development to ensure the health, wellness, and safety of Verisk employees. Under the guidance of GPS leadership, you will collaborate with the Lehi management team and human resources to ensure that overall safety, security, and employee wellness programs are prioritized.</p> <ul> <li>Perform facility assessments, evaluating inherent risks, mitigation actions, and remaining residual risks to the safety and security of Verisk global facilities. </li><li>Liaison with facility leads and BU managers in preparation for possible crisis incidents, which can include increased geopolitical tensions and civil unrest situations. </li><li>Create a corporate risk assessment and traveler protocols for employees traveling to high-risk locations, These reports are updated annually or when an employee is planning to travel. Brief the employee and their manager before travel may commence. </li><li>Perform and coordinate access control management to Verisk Facilities </li><li>Review and update the Facility Safety/Security playbook and Employee-facing Safety/Security playbooks. </li><li>Support the Corporate-wide emergency notification system. Provide training and support to local facility/BU's notification system administrators to ensure they have timely messaging capability. Ensure that administration rights are provided appropriately (by BU or facility). </li><li>Assist with Verisk's Security access control and CCTV systems. </li><li>Execute regular audits of ID cards to ensure company ID cards are activated and deactivated. </li><li>Assists with Verisk events and executive safety and support planning. </li><li>Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. </li><li>Bachelor's degree preferred. </li><li>Superior organization and written communication skills, coupled with strong technical writing and/or editorial skills and the ability to develop, document, and maintain methodologies and procedures. </li><li>Demonstrate a strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including MS Excel and PowerPoint, and experience with vendor risk tracking platforms is a plus. </li><li>Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across business disciplines. </li><li>Self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking and strong analytical skills. </li><li>Analytical, consulting, presentation, and project management skills preferred. </li><li>Ability to work independently on multiple projects with minimal supervision and meet aggressive deadlines is essential. </li><li>Willing and able to travel on short notice. </li><li>Knowledge of security management, business operations, risk management, response management, and physical security assessments. </li><li>1+ years of experience in global incident response, crisis management, and support preferred. </li><li>EMT certification, CPR, or First aid is preferred </li><li>Experience in maintaining case management systems, evidence collection, report preparation, and documentation of substantiated findings preferred. </li><li>Knowledge of threat management, facility assessments, and evaluating inherent risks is preferred. </li></ul> <p>#LI-LM03</p> <p>#LI-Hybrid</p>
