<p>The Team:</p> <p>Datadog's Finance team collaborates with teams across the organization, providing commercial, operational and analytical support to ensure that Datadog's business continues to scale rapidly and efficiently.</p> <p>The Opportunity:</p> <p>The Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team analyzes company financial data (revenue, customers, headcount, expenses, etc.) in order to support the business' growth and success. As a senior analyst supporting the team, you will analyze and forecast the business, help create our annual budget and financial targets, and work with operational leaders to support execution against our goals. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work-life harmony that best fits them.</p> <p>What You'll Do:</p> <ul> <li>Manage financial forecasts and analytics, which may include data across revenue, ARR, bookings, attainment, customers, sales capacity, product, company expenses, headcount / workforce, and cash flow data </li><li>Partner with senior business leaders to manage their departmental budgets, which may include the company's CFO and SVP Operations </li><li>Develop models to track spend efficiency relative to the overall business, working to establish scalable ways to plan these expenses </li><li>Work as a part of the broader FP&A team to understand the company's financials, analytics, and help the organization to scale thoughtfully </li><li>Work with finance leadership on quarterly Board materials, including coordination and consolidation across stakeholders </li><li>Assist in planning and budgeting cycles, ensuring consistency in tools, templates, and processes across the organization </li><li>Become proficient with various financial planning and business intelligence (BI) tools, including but not limited to Pigment, Tableau, and Metabase </li><li>Other ad hoc projects and analytics to support the business </li></ul> <p>Who You Are:</p> <ul> <li>3+ years of professional experience in Corporate FP&A, Corporate Finance, Investment Banking, or other related field </li><li>Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or economics </li><li>Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint with proven experience in building financial models and managing complex data </li><li>You are curious with a desire to deeply understand how a company functions, not just what is needed to roll a model forward </li><li>Strong verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Skilled at building relationships cross-functionally </li></ul> <p>Bonus Points:</p> <ul> <li>MBA or CFA is a plus but not required; </li><li>Solid understanding of Pigment is a plus, but not required </li></ul> <p>Datadog values people from all walks of life.
