<p>Overview:</p> <p>Supports Wealth Advisory Services integrated delivery of products and services consistent with the financial goals of clients and IST recommendations.</p> <p>Primary Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Support assigned Investment Advisor(s) in preparing for client meetings and providing support. </li><li>Prepare portfolio recommendation letters for advisory and co-trustee accounts, AO coordinations or best fit recommendations, and investment performance reviews of a more complex nature. </li><li>Maintain a working knowledge of Bank resources to facilitate client service delivery and expand client relationships. </li><li>Participate in internal meetings as well as pre and post-call planning as a support resource to partners in the latter stage of the sales process, including Private Client Advisors, Financial Advisors, Relationship Managers and other partners. </li><li>Maintain a current understanding of changes in the industry including Federal and state specific and various government regulations. </li><li>Participate in sales effort. Identify and develop additional opportunities with existing clients. </li><li>Maintain positive working relationships. Under direction, provide necessary support and information to clients, Private Client Advisors and Trust Advisors as well as others for all investment products. </li><li>Understand and adhere to the Company's risk and regulatory standards, policies and controls in accordance with the Company's Risk Appetite. Identify risk-related issues needing escalation to management. </li><li>Promote an environment that supports belonging and reflects the M&T Bank brand. </li><li>Maintain M&T internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators as applicable. </li><li>Complete other related duties as assigned. </li><li></li></ul> <p>Scope of Responsibilities:</p> <p>Integral to the position is the ability to communicate internally with Bank management and executives and externally with clients and their representatives.</p> <p>Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:</p> <p>Education and Experience Required:</p> <p>Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 1 years' relevant experience, or in lieu of a degree, a combined minimum of 5 years' higher education and/or work experience, including a minimum of 1 years' relevant experience</p> <p>General understanding of stocks and bonds</p> <p>Experience reading, analyzing, and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, and technical procedures</p> <p>Proficient personal computer skills with solid knowledge of pertinent office software</p> <p>Strong verbal and written communication skills</p> <p>Strong presentation skills</p> <p>Strong customer focus</p> <p>Proven experience working effectively within a team environment</p> <p>Education and Experience Preferred:</p> <p>Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field</p> <p>Physical Requirements:</p> <p>N/A</p> <p>M&T Bank is committed to fair, competitive, and market-informed pay for our employees.
