Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department.</p> <p>Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin!</p> <p>We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to:</p> <ul> <li>Provide consultative and rehabilitative treatment services to complex patients admitted to the acute hospital in the domains of speech, language and cognition. </li><li>Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to create comprehensive evidence-based treatment plans to maximize functional outcomes and discharge plans. </li><li>Work within the context of patient- and family- centered care in a primary and specialty care academic medical center. </li><li>Seek continual learning opportunities to advance one's own practice and educate others. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology or Communicative Disorders Required </li></ul> <p>Work Experience</p> <ul> <li>Completion of Clinical Speech Language Pathology Fellowship Requirement Preferred </li><li>Experience in a medical setting as a Speech Language Pathologist Preferred </li></ul> <p>Licenses & Certifications</p> <ul> <li>Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months Required </li><li>Wisconsin state license (or eligible) to practice as a Speech Language Pathologist Preferred </li><li>Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech Language Pathology (CCC - SLP) Preferred </li></ul> <p>Our Commitment to Social Impact and Belonging</p> <p>UW Health is committed to fostering a workplace that creates belonging for everyone and is an Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) employer.
