To learn more about our mission and programs, visit www.littleflowerny.org.</p> <p>The Residential Manager is responsible for the daily leadership, supervision, and operational oversight of assigned residential cottages. This position ensures that residential life is safe, structured, and therapeutically aligned with youth treatment goals and regulatory requirements. The Residential Manager plays a central role in staff development, behavior support implementation, cottage maintenance and coordination with interdisciplinary teams. Consistent with Little Flower policies, OCFS regulations, and best practices. This role fosters trauma-informed, youth-centered environments that promote dignity, healing, and developmental growth.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide direct oversight of assigned residential cottages, ensuring routines, schedules, and supervision are implemented with consistency and in accordance with Little Flower policy and OCFS regulations. </li><li>Supervise and coach Shift Supervisors and Youth Development Counselors (YDCs), fostering accountability and alignment with trauma-informed practices. </li><li>Lead or participate in regular staff meetings, treatment team discussions, and incident debriefings to promote collaboration and high-quality care. </li><li>Ensure timely and accurate completion of documentation, including incident reports, cottage logs, behavior tracking, and staffing schedules. </li><li>Monitor youth engagement, safety, and behavior management strategies to ensure a therapeutic and developmentally appropriate living environment. Implement corrective actions and staff interventions in response to performance or policy concerns in collaboration with Human Resources and residential leadership. </li><li>Support onboarding, training, and development of new and existing residential staff with a focus on trauma-informed engagement, crisis prevention, and relational caregiving. </li><li>Maintain a safe, clean, and regulation-compliant physical space in each cottage through regular walkthroughs and coordination with Facilities and Quality Assurance. </li><li>Serve as Administrator on Duty on a rotating basis as needed to coordinate cross-campus staffing and security needs. </li><li>Partner with internal teams, including Clinical, Medical, Educational, Recreation, and Casework-to ensure integrated care delivery for each youth. </li><li>Model and uphold best practices in residential care, emphasizing youth voice, staff-youth relationships, and family engagement. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field preferred. </li><li>Minimum 3-5 years of supervisory experience in a residential, behavioral health, or child welfare setting. </li><li>Strong understanding of OCFS regulations, trauma-informed care, and youth development best practices. </li><li>Strong understanding of Little Flower policy, preferred. </li><li>Demonstrated leadership, crisis management, communication, and team-building skills. </li></ul> <p>Core Competencies:</p> <p>Program and team leadership, trauma-informed supervision and engagement, youth behavioral support and safety planning, regulatory compliance and documentation oversight, collaboration and communication, performance management and staff development.</p> <p>Why Join Little Flower?</p> <ul> <li>Join a mission-driven organization with nearly a century of service. </li><li>Be part of a collaborative and supportive leadership team. </li><li>Access to a comprehensive benefits package and professional development opportunities. </li><li>Make a difference in the lives of children and families while shaping the future of residential treatment. </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions:</p> <ul> <li>On-site presence required. </li><li>Various shifts available. </li><li>Must have availability for evening, weekend, or holiday coverage as needed. </li></ul> <p>EEO Statement:</p> <p>Little Flower Children and Family Services of New York is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
