<p>Holliston High School is looking for an organized and personable School Counseling Secretary to join their team. This central role serves as a vital point of contact for students, faculty, and the community, ensuring the smooth daily operations of the counseling department through scheduling, communication, and meticulous data management.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <p>Calendar & Communication Management:</p> <ul> <li>Maintain school counselors' schedules by booking student appointments and meetings. </li><li>Answer phone calls and serve as a helpful point of contact for students, faculty, and visitors. </li></ul> <p>Event Coordination:</p> <ul> <li>Organize and manage Advanced Placement (AP) test administration. </li><li>Coordinate department milestones including awards nights and college fairs. </li></ul> <p>Student Support & Liaison Services:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Maintain student enrollment data and the school honor roll.</p> </li><li> <p>Coordinate scholarship opportunities and community involvement programs.</p> </li><li> <p>Act as the primary liaison to the online collaborative program.</p> </li></ul> <p>Administrative Operations:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Manage department mailings and maintain student records and data.</p> </li><li> <p>Perform other administrative and supportive responsibilities as they arise.</p> </li></ul> <p>Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Strong interpersonal skills </li><li>Strong writing and editing skills </li><li>Strong technical skills </li><li>Spreadsheet and database experience preferred </li><li>Ability to work and communicate positively with students, parents and staff </li></ul> <p>If you are interested in joining our district , please apply for this position by submitting a cover letter/letter of interest, resume, transcripts, copy of licensure and three (3) letters of reference.</p> <p>Public School employees of Massachusetts are required to submit their fingerprints to a National Criminal Database check.
