Ready to bring your best?</p> <p>The Finance Clerk will be responsible for supporting the accounting team with month end financial closing duties, as well as all budgeting, forecasting, and costing activities for the facility. He/she will compile and submit monthly market reports according to Market Administrator protocol and ensure proper milk accruals as well as perform duties using common accounting practices.</p> <p>How You Will Make Contributions That Matter…</p> <ul> <li>Support and analyze drivers of performance of P&L </li><li>Prepare month end close accruals, journal entries, P&L reconciliations for Finance Administration Manager </li><li>Diagnose weekly/monthly material yield and loss </li><li>Assist the Plant leadership team with assessing functional performance and areas of opportunity for further cost reduction to achieve Plant KPI's </li><li>Assist data-driven, fact based information to support decisions enabling productivity measures to reduce overall cost </li><li>Track Capital expenditures for plant </li><li>Submit Milk Market Administrator reports </li><li>Milk accruals </li><li>Analyze actual costs versus standard costs and prepare reports of variances. </li><li>Back up Accounts Payable Clerk </li><li>Communicate directly with vendors on discrepancies and resolutions </li><li>Work with internal personnel to ensure process flow is followed </li><li>Assist with month end close related duties including; accruals, account reconciliation etc. </li><li>Support Finance Manager with weekly duties </li><li>Ensure records are maintained and organized </li><li>Settle all incoming bulk liquid receipts with vendors </li><li>Prepare monthly advance and final milk payments </li><li>Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and other special projects </li><li>Support internal/external audits </li><li>Support record-retention administration and guidelines </li><li>Comply with the Saputo Code of Ethics and actively apply the Saputo Values </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>You Are Best Suited For The Role If You Have…</p> <ul> <li>2 Year Accounting or Finance degree preferred or 5 years general accounting experience </li><li>Knowledge of accounts payable and/or general accounting procedures </li><li>ERP, SAP experience preferred. </li><li>Strong highly motivated team player with the ability to work across multiple functions and disciplines </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, strong MS Excel skills </li><li>Excellent verbal, written and organizational skills </li><li>Ability to communicate effectively </li><li>Extreme attention to details, well organized with excellent skills in managing time and multi-tasking </li><li>Ability to work independently and with a team in a fast paced environment with emphasis on accuracy and timeliness </li><li>The employee may be exposed to wet, hot, humid and cold temperatures, moving machinery including forklift traffic, and noise levels exceeding 85dB. </li><li>The employee must have the ability to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds independently on an intermittent basis. </li><li>The employee is regularly required to work in an office, but will spend time in warehouse and production environments. </li><li>Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. </li><li>The employee frequently is required to sit, stand and walk for extended periods of time. </li></ul> <p>We Support and Care For Our Employees By Providing Them With…</p> <ul> <li>Development opportunities that enhance their career fulfillment </li><li>Meaningful compensation & benefits that help them care for their families </li><li>Opportunities to contribute to your community and enhance the lives of others through Saputo products </li><li>An opportunity to work in a hybrid environment that allows for a positive work/life balance </li></ul> <p>Salary Range $39,215 to $51,470</p> <p>Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills, and training.</p> <p>In the USA, Saputo ranks among the top three cheese producers and is one of the top producers of extended shelf-life and cultured dairy products, with a portfolio of well-loved brands such as Stella, Frigo Cheese, Montchevre, Stella, and Treasure Cave.
