<p>Position Summary</p> <p>Supports a broad range of moderately complex projects (design, implementation, etc.). Projects could range from new equipment, procurement and installation; machine safety improvements; maintenance projects; equipment enhancement; new products; sales support, training support, etc. Projects may be small stand-alone projects or portions of a larger project with the larger project being managed by others. Also troubleshoots current production equipment/processes for maximum quality throughput. Generates cost savings ideas throughout facility.</p> <p>Key Position Results</p> <ul> <li>Successful delivery of projects on time, within budget, and with required functionality </li><li>Effective monitoring and communication of project cost and schedule to stakeholders </li><li>Accurate integration of new systems and equipment </li><li>Proactive risk identification and mitigation throughout the project timeline </li></ul> <p>Key Responsibilities</p> <p>Project Management</p> <ul> <li>Define project scope and objectives </li><li>Develop and manage project budgets and schedules </li><li>Identify and manage project risks and issues </li><li>Communicate project status and performance metrics to stakeholders </li></ul> <p>Stakeholder Communication</p> <ul> <li>Provide clear and consistent updates on project status and key metrics </li></ul> <p>Technical Support</p> <ul> <li>Troubleshoot and support production equipment and processes </li><li>Provide technical assistance to Sales and other departments </li></ul> <p>Other Duties</p> <ul> <li>Perform additional responsibilities as assigned </li></ul> <p>Required Skills & Competencies</p> <ul> <li>Strong interpersonal and communication skills </li><li>Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities </li><li>Experience with product and process design techniques (APQP, Flow Charts, Control Plans, FMEA, PPAP, etc.) </li><li>Intermediate knowledge of machine design and operating principles </li><li>Intermediate knowledge of machine repair and troubleshooting practices </li><li>Proficiency in CAD, PC systems, and PLCs </li><li>Hands-on, independent contributor who thrives in team environments </li><li>Ability to travel 25-50% </li></ul> <p>Education & Experience</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent experience preferred </li><li>Minimum of 5 years of related engineering experience </li><li>Project management training preferred (MS Project, Gantt charts, PM methodologies, etc.) </li></ul>
