Our unique business model, combined with our dedication to delivering the highest quality products, enables team members to contribute in a larger capacity than is possible in typical positions.</p> <p>Position Description</p> <p>As a Production Team Leader, you will be responsible for working within the framework of a team and performing the following activities:</p> <ul> <li>Lead by example, following all company policies, procedures and processes. </li><li>Develop, train and manage team member performance. </li><li>Create a cohesive team atmosphere and maintain professionalism with all team members. </li><li>Encourage open communication and embody our open door policy. </li><li>Determine production schedule and ensure product meets quality goals. </li><li>Coordinate material movement based on production plan. </li><li>Provide accurate feedback to leadership with regard to employee performance (attendance/work). </li><li>Coordinate labor coverage and assist area leadership in determining overtime requirements. </li><li>Utilize SAP and other systems to report production, scrap, downtime, problems and issues impacting department goals. </li><li>Monitor and analyze daily labor times, key performance indicators and other tracking reports including webapps. </li><li>Perform shop order documentation review. </li><li>Identify and elevate safety, quality, efficiency and/or team member issues to area leadership. </li></ul> <p>Position Requirements</p> <p>This position requires the following skills and attributes:</p> <ul> <li>Experience leading teams and processes in a fast paced-environment. </li><li>High school diploma or equivalent. </li><li>Read, write, speak and communicate effectively with other team members, and comprehend work and safety instructions. </li><li>Must be a team player and have good organizational skills. </li><li>Mechanically inclined with some familiarity of basic machinery, pumps, hydraulics, or other type of mechanically driven technology. </li><li>Ability to develop, correct, and maintain process improvements. </li><li>Experience with creating and editing Training Records, MIs, SOP, GAs, and other forms of procedural documentation. </li><li>Ability to work in a diverse work environment with a variety of experience, skill levels, and professional backgrounds. </li><li>Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP or equivalent material management software. </li><li>Ability to do root causes analysis using industry standard investigation formats. </li><li>Experience in leading meetings, project management, and formal presentations. </li><li>Resourceful in vendor sourcing and market research in order to implement cost effective and data driven solutions. </li><li>Delegation of tasks and sharing of company goals. </li></ul> <p>Preferred</p> <p>The following skills and attributes are preferred:</p> <ul> <li>Experience leading in a manufacturing environment. </li><li>Experience with Metal Injection Molding. </li></ul> <p>Benefits</p> <ul> <li>Competitive compensation range: $20 - $26 / hour (California). </li><li>Comprehensive benefits package. </li><li>Training and mentorship opportunities. </li><li>On-campus wellness activities. </li><li>Education reimbursement program. </li><li>401(k) program with discretionary employer match. </li><li>Generous vacation accrual and paid holiday schedule. </li></ul> <p>Please note that the compensation range may be adjusted in the future, and bonus and incentive compensation plans may apply.</p> <p>Our total reward package reflects our commitment to employee growth and well-being, as we invest in your development and offer a range of benefits designed to enhance your career and life.</p> <p>All compensation and benefits are subject to plan documents and written agreements.</p> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer</p> <p>Applied Medical is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
