If you are passionate about aviation and eager to develop your expertise in aircraft maintenance, we invite you to apply and be part of a university committed to excellence and innovation.</p> <p>Summary of Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>The Assistant Aviation Mechanic is responsible for preparing aircraft for inspection by opening panels on inspections, cleaning aircraft including interior and exterior, washing aircraft before inspection is started, waxing, vacuuming, conditioning seats, and window washing. </li><li>Performs some preventative maintenance in accordance with FAA regulations including oil changes, changing tires, and brakes. These tasks will be done under direct supervision of a certificated aircraft maintenance technician. </li><li>Assists with keeping the hangars clean and organized. </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications</p> <p>Graduation with a high school diploma or GED.</p> <p>Preferred Qualifications</p> <p>Graduation with high school diploma or GED and one year related experience or any combination of job related experience and education totaling one year.
