The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to fostering academic growth and social development in middle school students. As a member of our faculty, you will have the opportunity to inspire young minds, create engaging learning experiences, and contribute to a positive school culture.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Curriculum: Implement a comprehensive social studies curriculum aligned with state standards and school objectives. Adapt instructional materials to meet the diverse needs of students. </li><li>Effective Instruction: Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that promote critical thinking, historical inquiry, and active participation. Differentiate instruction to accommodate various learning styles and abilities. </li><li>Assessment and Feedback: Design and administer formative and summative assessments to evaluate student progress. Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and parents. </li><li>Classroom Management: Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning. Set clear expectations for behavior and classroom routines. Leverage restorative practices, where appropriate/ </li><li>Parent and Community Engagement: Foster open communication with families through regular updates, conferences, and involvement in school events. Engage with the local community to enhance the social studies program. </li><li>Professional Development: Stay current with educational trends, research, and best practices in social studies education.
