<p>Job Description Summary</p> <p>We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Distance Learning Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing and managing distance learning sessions, developing multimedia content, and ensuring a seamless learning experience for our students. This role requires a strong background in distance learning technologies, multimedia development, and excellent communication skills.</p> <p>Job Description</p> <p>Roles and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Serve as the primary producer for distance learning (DL) sessions and support instructors as needed. </li><li>Act as the first point of contact for challenges experienced during DL sessions. </li><li>Maintain contact information for producers and schedule all producers for both dry runs and live sessions. </li><li>Train new producers and update DL instructions and documentation. </li><li>Manage DL room equipment, including maintaining a master list of equipment and facilitating a spare parts pool. </li><li>Record, edit, and post Wirecast sessions. </li><li>Support video projects by shooting, editing, and uploading to Student Material Pages </li><li>Record audio and perform still photography. </li></ul> <p>Required Qualifications</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Multimedia Development, or a related field (or High School Diploma / GED and 4 years of experience). </li><li>Proven experience in distance learning production and multimedia development. </li><li>Strong technical skills in video recording, editing, and production. </li><li>Proficiency in HTML, Storyline, and other multimedia development tools. </li><li>Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills. </li><li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team. </li></ul> <p>Desired Characteristics</p> <ul> <li>Experience with Wirecast and Brightcove player. </li><li>Knowledge of augmented reality (AR) experiences and interactive logic in training modules. </li></ul> <p>Additional Information</p> <p>GE HealthCare offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation.
