Our Acute Care Campus (ACC) is a fast-paced, high-acuity environment where dedicated Behavioral Health Technicians play a vital role in ensuring safety, stability, and recovery for individuals experiencing acute mental health crises.</p> <p>As a Behavioral Health Technician, you'll work as part of a multidisciplinary care team to provide direct support, monitoring, and crisis intervention while fostering a therapeutic environment that promotes dignity, recovery, and wellness.</p> <p>What You'll Do</p> <ul> <li>Behavioral Health Technicians work as part of a multi-disciplinary team to provide crisis assessment, monitoring, and client care in an environment that optimizes safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/clinical care errors while providing support to the people receiving services. </li><li>Monitor the clinical milieu including accountability for completion of routine 15-minute, 30-minute and line-of-sight checks. Initiate regular interactions with clients to observe client mental status and safety risk on the unit </li><li>Assist clients in activities of daily living and lead supportive care initiatives </li><li>Provide opportunities, through daily interaction, for clients to achieve optimal wellness during an acute mental health crisis while aligning with treatment goals </li><li>Facilitate some therapeutic groups and activities to assist clients in developing skills to help them problem solve, reduce crisis response, meet goals, and prepare for discharge to the community </li><li>Assist with admission and discharge of clients </li><li>Actively participate in crisis management, including de-escalation when a person is in crisis or at risk of escalating on the unit </li><li>Ensure timely documentation of all interventions provided. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, merit, and the ability to embody the AllHealth Network mission and values. The range listed is just one component of AllHealth Networks' total compensation package for employees.
