We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workplace, and we are looking for candidates who share that same commitment.</p> <p>Summary of the role</p> <p>As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and collaborative environment, where your ideas and contributions will be valued and respected.</p> <p>Job Summary</p> <p>The Production Associate II (Extrusion) is responsible for operating and maintaining machines that extrude thermoplastic materials into tubes.</p> <p>Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Run Extrusion machines to established specifications </li><li>Prepares raw materials for daily production runs </li><li>Measure and interpret tubing dimensions in relation to specification </li><li>Maintains a clean and organized work environment </li><li>Operate as a team player to assist in meeting department goals </li><li>Breakdown and clean all extrusion equipment as needed </li><li>Set-up extrusion equipment according to specification </li><li>Able to identify visual defects in extruded tubing </li><li>Able to identify and correct dimensional non-conformances </li><li>Clean and polish all tooling and critical components </li><li>Measures and cuts tubing </li><li>Selects and installs specified tooling for the job </li><li>Other duties as assigned </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience Requirements</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma, GED or equivalent preferred </li><li>1+ years' experience in manufacturing environment preferred </li></ul> <p>Skills and Abilities</p> <ul> <li>Ability to follow processes/procedures </li><li>Moves equipment weighing up to 25 pounds </li><li>Must be able to remain in a stationary position during shift </li><li>Effective communication, include speaking, writing, active listening and taking instruction </li><li>Mechanical skills, including comfort with using tools to make simple adjustments </li><li>Adherence to health and safety regulations (e.g. constant use of PPE) </li><li>Attention to detail </li><li>Basic computer skills </li></ul> <p>Working Conditions and Physical Demands</p> <p>To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
