<p>Wor-Wic Community College is accepting applications for a director of dual enrollment and early college initiatives to lead and administer the college's dual enrollment and early college programs, lead student orientation activities, provide academic advising and represent the college to high schools and other organizations at community events. The director will lead dual enrollment efforts in partnership with the three counties within the service district and ensure delivery of dual enrollment services to college and high school, charter, and private school students within those campus communities. Work schedule will include evenings and weekends as needed. The following list is not intended as, nor should it be construed as, exhaustive of all responsibilities, skills or working conditions associated with this position.</p> <ul> <li>Administers and develops the college's dual enrollment and early college programs; recruits students tot he college's dual enrollment and early college programs; works with faculty, staff and local school districts to provide a high-quality onboarding experience for students and helps resolve issues that are barriers to success; coordinates with college faculty to support students and to address course availability both at the college and at local school districts; maintains relationships with school district guidance counselors to assist students as they prepare for dual enrollment courses; works with parents/guardians of high school students to address any concerns regarding dual enrollment or early college courses </li><li>Monitors and maintains dual enrollment student data, tracks enrollment targets for each semester determined by the administration from high schools, including home schools and private high schools, and tracks related data dashboards in partnership with institutional research </li><li>Creates, develops and administers solutions, strategic activities, aligned objectives, and processes and procedures for dual enrollment; conducts research and analysis and provides findings and recommendations; and develops solutions to processes pertaining to dual enrollment </li><li>Provides holistic academic advising to all dual enrollment and early college students, including proactive advising and responding to alerts submitted by faculty, and conducts transitional advising appointments at the end of dual enrollment students' senior year to discuss degree programs at Wor-Wic and financial resources such as scholarships, grants and opportunity programs and/or provides transfer counseling and preparation </li><li>Oversees all orientation activities for dual enrollment and early college students; serves as a co-lead for collegewide new student welcome activities </li><li>Provides support to academic deans, instructional staff, full- and part-time faculty and instructional staff, and staff </li><li>Assists the admission and outreach team in recruiting efforts </li><li>Serves as an enrollment coach, helping students review and discuss career choices, select academic program or non-credit courses, understand basic financial aid processes and determine their placement status </li><li>Manages and/or contributes to the annual and five-year comprehensive department assessment process as per the college assessment plan </li><li>Performs other duties as assigned </li><li>Bachelor's degree in education, counseling, social work or a relevant field </li><li>Three years of relevant work experience with college and/or high school students </li><li>Strong attention to detail, computer (including Microsoft Office), electronic database, organizational, human relations, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills </li><li>Must be a creative and dynamic individual who can work independently and under general supervision to provide courteous and accurate customer service to all students, visitors and the campus community both in-person and virtually </li><li>Valid driver's license </li><li>Preference will be given to applicants with a master's degree, demonstrated experience working with college and workforce preparation (especially with dual enrollment programs) and supervising professional and support staff </li></ul> <p>This is a full-time standard administrative position with excellent fringe benefits. Days and Hours of work are Mon. - Thurs., 9:30 a.m. - 6 p.m. and Fri., 8 am - 4:30 pm (1 hour lunch).
