We encourage our team to strive for personal and professional greatness and are always empowered to do what is right.</p> <p>Join one of the only AAA Five Diamond property in Central Florida!</p> <p>The Opportunity:</p> <p>Event Concierge</p> <p>Who We Look For:</p> <p>We are looking for an Event Concierge who shares our passion for excellence and is enthusiastic about creating the ultimate service experience for Resort groups and social events. This person will be a member of a dynamic team who provides unparalleled experiences for our guests. In this role, you will provide in person client support directly to conference and catering clients, to enhance their overall experience at the resort.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Coordinate anticipatory services and problem solve for needs across all departments, including Banquets, AV, Room Service, Housekeeping, Front Desk, Reservations, Recreation and beyond.</p> </li><li> <p>Meet with Group Contact on daily basis to ensure guest satisfaction. Follow up with any requests as needed, communicating with all relevant support departments of any changes or new requests.</p> </li><li> <p>Double check meeting room setup and timeliness to ensure accuracy between BEO and physical setup. Follow up with Banquet Leadership team if any discrepancies on room setup</p> </li><li> <p>Double check food & beverage event setup and timeliness to ensure accuracy between BEO and physical setup. Follow up with Banquet Leadership team if any discrepancies on F&B setup</p> </li><li> <p>Ensure that all arrangements and provided services are to the liking of the Group Contact/Main Client</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with any paperwork as needed for successful completion of events</p> </li><li> <p>Double check on all group box movement and ascertain that all boxes have been delivered at beginning & end of program. Follow up with Banquet Leadership team on any missing boxes to ensure timely resolution of issue</p> </li><li> <p>Make and post any directional signage needed by groups on the Banquet floorspace</p> </li><li> <p>Double check all group room postings on Banquet floorspace to ensure accuracy between BEO and meeting rooms</p> </li><li> <p>Assist in any maintenance requests to ensure that Banquet Meeting rooms are kept in optimal condition at all times and communicate any pending/outstanding issues to Banquet Leadership Team</p> </li><li> <p>The position also requires timely completion of administrative tasks or projects in the department and standing in from time to time to take on the duties of an administrative assistant.</p> </li><li> <p>Other duties may be assigned as applicable to support resort operating departments during non-peak event season.</p> </li><li> <p>Comply with Four Seasons standards for sales and marketing, while working harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and planning committee.</p> </li><li> <p>Comply with Four Seasons Category One and Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in?EmPact.</p> </li></ul> <p>Minimum Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Experience: 2 years of previous Banquet experience in Front of House operations is desired but not necessary.</p> </li><li> <p>Skills and Abilities: Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language. Strong interpersonal & communication skills. High level of enthusiasm, creativity and attention to details is a must.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to handle multiple and competing tasks and make decisions in a fast paced, client driven environment.</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to work long and irregular hours, especially weekends and holidays.</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and ability to use email and the internet.</p> </li></ul> <p>A successful candidate will be open to work flexible schedule that will include early mornings and late nights, be detail oriented, have excellent communication skills, an engaging personality and be familiar with all aspects of the conference & catering planning process.
