<p>Position Type:</p> <p>Kids` Company/Site Leader/Assistant Site Leader</p> <p>Date Posted:</p> <p>5/19/2025</p> <p>Location:</p> <p>Hamilton Ridge Elementary</p> <p>Date Available:</p> <p>06/09/2025</p> <p>Closing Date:</p> <p>05/30/2025</p> <p>  Additional Information: Show/Hide</p> <p>Community Education Services Kids' Company (Medium-Term Sub) Site Leader</p> <p>Work Schedule: Up to 8 hours per day (hours assignment by Kids' Company Coordinator)</p> <p>Compensation: $24.61 per hour</p> <p>Join Our Team and Thrive!</p> <p>We offer a comprehensive benefits package that stands out among school districts:</p> <ul> <li>Health Insurance: A rich health plan that provides extensive coverage for you and your family, ensuring peace of mind. </li><li>Dental Insurance: Full coverage options for routine and preventive care, keeping your smile bright and healthy. </li><li>Life Insurance: Protect yourself and your loved ones with a robust life insurance plan </li><li>an Employee Assistance Program, free to employees and their family members </li><li>optional medical and dependent care flexible spending account </li><li>Long-term disability Insurance: enjoy the security of long-term disability coverage should you ever need it. </li></ul> <p>To learn more about our benefits and eligibility, visit our webpage for new employees.</p> <p>TITLE: KIDS' COMPANY SITE LEADER</p> <p>QUALIFICATIONS:</p> <ul> <li>High school diploma or GED, required. </li><li>Two years of supervisory experience, required. </li><li>Minimum of two years experience working with young children. </li><li>Demonstrated ability to relate well to children and their families, staff and school personnel. </li><li>Demonstrated team building and organizational skills. </li><li>Ability and willingness to work flexible hours. </li><li>Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board of Education may find appropriate or acceptable. </li></ul> <p>REPORTS TO: Kids' Company Coordinator and Kids' Company Assistant Coordinator.</p> <p>JOB GOALS: To manage a safe, inclusive, and well-organized school age child care program to meet the needs of children, families and the community.</p> <p>PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:</p> <ul> <li>Direct the supervision of children during program time. </li><li>Lead and support staff in the implementation of daily curriculum, including preparation of materials, maintaining supplies, and offering developmentally appropriate activities and opportunities for children in accordance with the School-Age Child Care (SACC) standards, Kids' Company program handbooks and district policy. </li><li>Communicate daily with program families regarding observations of their child(ren), sharing and addressing any specific concerns, and requesting support in implementation of accommodations as needed. </li><li>Perform annual staff evaluations as required. </li><li>Maintain records in accordance with SACC standards and district policy. </li><li>Maintain confidentiality of all district children and families. </li><li>Collaborate with district staff when necessary to address needs of a particular child, including but not limited to principals, elementary educators and support persons, special education, etc. </li><li>Communicate with the Kids' Company Coordinator and/or Kids' Company Assistant Coordinator on any concerns, accidents, severe injuries, or unusual situations. </li><li>Be available to work all non-school days and early release days. </li><li>Attend all staff meetings, special meetings or events, and staff development activities as requested by the Kids' Company Coordinator. Complete any required in-service hours. </li><li>Conduct on-site staff meetings, as appropriate. </li><li>Promote teamwork, customer service and a positive image of the program to peers, children, families, school personnel and the community. </li><li>Assist the Kids' Company Coordinator and Kids' Company Assistant Coordinator in new program development and marketing efforts. </li><li>Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Kids' Company Coordinator or designee. </li></ul> <p>TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: As determined by the Board of Education</p> <p>EVALUATION: Performance of this job will be evaluated annually</p> <p>EVALUATOR: Kids' Company Coordinator</p> <p>REVISED: August 17, 2023</p>
