<p>Overview</p> <p>The Opportunity:</p> <p>General Dynamics Electric Boat, the world's foremost designer and builder of nuclear submarines, is seeking an IT Network Senior Supervisor to join the organization within the Information Technology (EBIT) Department. Electric Boat Information Technology is responsible for ensuring technical solutions meet business needs and ensure availability and reliability of IT server and storage infrastructure.</p> <p>Position Summary:</p> <p>The Information Technology Network Senior Supervisor will lead a group network engineers for the creation, documentation, and management of Electric Boat's enterprise IT network. The Network senior supervisor will oversee both a network projects supervisor and network operations supervisor who will run 24x7 operations of Electric Boat's unclassified corporate network.</p> <p>A successful candidate will be able to balance IT requirements, cybersecurity requirements, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve those requirements.</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelors degree in computer science, cybersecurity, computer information systems, or IT networking </li><li>5+ years of experience working within large enterprise IT environments </li></ul> <p>Preferred:</p> <ul> <li>2+ years experience with enterprise IT operation </li><li>Experience with Palo Alto firewalls </li><li>Experience with Cisco networking equipment </li><li>Experience with 24x7 around the clock IT network management </li></ul> <p>Skills</p> <ul> <li>Ability to reduce complex topics and distill them into Executive Level Summaries </li><li>Ability to supervise skilled professionals in various highly specialized backgrounds </li></ul>
