<p>Description</p> <p>The candidates in this role will be responsible for quality control testing on raw materials, in process goods, and finished products. The individual in this role will be responsible for:</p> <ul> <li>Audit and inspect incoming raw materials and packaging items ensuring they meet specifications. </li><li>Follow SOPs and GMPs in testing raw materials for various qualities including color, flavor, temperature, moisture, pH, viscosity, density, salt, etc. </li><li>Verify all label information meet specifications </li><li>Document and record all quality information in excel or SAP system. </li><li>Implement product holds, releases, preventative actions, corrective actions on various products </li><li>Responsible for lab equipment set up, maintenance, calibration, and operation. Equipment includes: refractometer, automatic titrator, pH meter, colorimeter, scales, Bostwick, Brookfield viscometer, etc. </li><li>Sample and test finished product goods, materials, and environmental samples. </li><li>Audit production lines for quality including code dates, fill weights, metal detection, package integrity. </li><li>Prepare microbial testing - agar, buffer, dilution bottles, swabs, petrifilm </li><li>Perform other duties as assigned. </li></ul> <p>3rd Shift | M-F | 10pm-630am or 830am some days</p> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Must Have:</p> <ul> <li>High School Diploma Required, Bachelors Degree in Science Discipline Preferred </li><li>Minimum 1 year of college level science courses/labs required </li><li>Minimum 1 year of industry lab experience in GMP food manufacturing environment. </li><li>Ability to work 3rd shift </li></ul> <p>Nice to Have:</p> <ul> <li>SAP or quality management software experience </li><li>Food Science Degree </li></ul> <p>Experience Level</p> <p>Entry Level</p> <p>Pay and Benefits</p> <p>The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00/hr.</p> <p>Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job</p> <p>classification and length of employment.
