At Tutor Perini Civil you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of large, high-profile, projects that impact your community.</p> <p>Extraordinary Projects need Exceptional Talent</p> <p>DESCRIPTION:</p> <p>As a QA/QC Manager reporting to the Quality Director you will have the opportunity to:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Expand and Develop standard operating procedures and processes to achieve the highest levels of quality associated with delivering a completed construction project</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with the creation of project specific Quality Management Plans and verify implementation of plan for each project</p> </li><li> <p>Assist with the development of Quality metrics that empower teams to review information on quality execution; work cross-functionally with operations to address any trend.</p> </li><li> <p>Manage a team of Quality professionals to execute the administrative tasks related to reporting site evaluations, quality reporting requirements, and site specific quality planning</p> </li><li> <p>Conduct random site evaluations, including follow-up evaluations to ensure corrections have been made to deficiencies</p> </li><li> <p>Create mechanisms for sharing best practices and quality issues across project teams and among all quality personnel</p> </li><li> <p>Act as a resource for field operations with compliance on Federal and State regulatory requirements as well as local quality regulations.</p> </li><li> <p>Develop and update comprehensive training curriculum for all field operations, Quality Department Staff, and Subcontractors</p> </li><li> <p>Stay abreast of trends and evolving best practices by participating in organizations and forums dedicated to Quality.</p> </li><li> <p>Keep the Company informed of the latest updates on best practices and standards</p> </li></ul> <p>REQUIREMENTS:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or Quality Management from an accredited institution preferred and 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance/Quality Control on NYC construction projects exceeding 150 million in value.</p> </li><li> <p>Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of New York, preferred</p> </li><li> <p>CQA, CQE and/or CQM Certifications preferred</p> </li><li> <p>Must have 5+ years of recent experience overseeing the inspection and materials testing of projects similar in scale or scope</p> </li><li> <p>Solid understanding of means and methods of construction</p> </li><li> <p>Proficient with computer software used in the construction industry</p> </li><li> <p>Working knowledge of national and State code and quality regulations/standards</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of construction i.e. prints, plans, procedures, scheduling, and testing</p> </li><li> <p>The following certifications are preferred but not required: Envision Sustainability Professional (ENV-SP) Accreditation, OSHA 30-Hour Construction Accreditation, Construction Manager In Training (CMIT) Accreditation since 2015, ISO 9001 Lead Auditor Accreditation since 2022, CQA,CQE, CQM, ACI Concrete Field-Testing Technician Accreditation, ACI Concrete Construction Special Inspector, ASCE Quality Management</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent written and verbal skills</p> </li></ul> <p>Equal Opportunity Employer</p>
