As an Assistant Lacrosse Coach, you will inspire, motivate, and teach students specific lacrosse skills, while fostering positive character development and building strong relationships with athletes both on and off the field.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Assist in planning and executing team practices and drills. </li><li>Provide individualized coaching to athletes, focusing on skill development and technique. </li><li>Support the Head Coach in managing team dynamics, strategy, and game plans. </li><li>Promote teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship within the team. </li><li>Ensure the safety and well-being of all athletes during practices and games. </li><li>Communicate effectively with athletes, parents, and school staff. </li></ul> <p>Job Requirements:</p> <ul> <li>Strong leadership and communication skills. </li><li>Passion for coaching and teaching lacrosse. </li><li>Knowledge of lacrosse rules, techniques, and strategies. </li></ul> <p>Education and Experience:</p> <ul> <li>A Four-Year College Degree OR </li><li>Serving as an Approved Assistant Coach (non-Hardship Coach) for a minimum of TWO school years. </li></ul> <p>Eligible Applicants:</p> <ul> <li>FHSD Certified Employees </li><li>FHSD Non-Certified Employees </li><li>Qualified External Candidates </li></ul> <p>We look forward to receiving your application and welcoming you to the FHSD team!</p>
