<p>LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting a company in the northwest suburbs with a search for an accountant. This is a temporary to hire role and onsite. They are looking for someone who can work well with a team and contribute to month end close as well as long term goals.</p> <p>Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li> <p>Prepare journal entries</p> </li><li> <p>Reconcile balance sheet and bank accounts</p> </li><li> <p>Provide information and analysis for financial reporting</p> </li><li> <p>Discrepancy resolution</p> </li><li> <p>Adjusting entries</p> </li><li> <p>Support audit activities</p> </li><li> <p>Special projects and ad hoc reporting</p> </li></ul> <p>Required:</p> <ul> <li> <p>A minimum of 3 years of experience in an accountant role</p> </li><li> <p>Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance</p> </li><li> <p>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills</p> </li><li> <p>Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines</p> </li><li> <p>Excellent communication skills</p> </li><li> <p>Work well in a team environment as well as independently</p> </li><li> <p>Knowledge of GAAP accounting</p> </li><li> <p>Must be very detailed and analytical</p> </li></ul> <p>Pay: $34-$42/hour</p> <p>Pay Details: $34.00 to $42.00 per hour</p> <p>Search managed by: Kellie Cory</p> <p>Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
