<p>Job Description</p> <p>Description</p> <p>SAIC is seeking experienced certified group exercise instructors to lead group fitness classes. Instructors will inspire physical fitness for Intelligence Community Professionals at a customer site in Chantilly, VA. Candidates must be able to obtain a SECRET Security Clearance. The preferred candidates will be teaching a group exercise cycling class, Monday mornings, 6AM - 7AM.</p> <p>License/Certification (required):</p> <ul> <li>CPR Certification </li><li>Nationally accredited certification required in personal training and/or group fitness. </li><li>Acceptable certification include: National Association of Sports Medicine (NASM), American Council of Exercise (ACE), American Fitness Aerobic Association (AFAA), American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), </li><li>National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA) </li></ul> <p>Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Ability to perform an aerobic activity for duration of a class, which may include, but not limited to, standing, walking, climbing, balancing, running, crawling, and kneeling. </li><li>Ability to perform exercises specific to the assigned class. </li><li>Educates class participants on correct form and alternative moves during the fitness routine. </li><li>Ensure the safety and enjoyment for all in fitness classes. </li><li>Attentively listens to members, answer questions, and engage in conversation before and after classes. </li><li>Cleans and organizes studio space before/after each Group Fitness class, record class metrics, and time worked. </li></ul> <p>Qualifications</p> <p>Certificates or training in teaching group exercise classes or personal fitness</p> <p>Overview</p> <p>SAIC accepts applications on an ongoing basis and there is no deadline.</p> <p>SAIC is a premier Fortune 500 mission integrator focused on advancing the power of technology and innovation to serve and protect our world.
