<p>Job Description:</p> <p>Social Worker (Full-Time)</p> <p>We are seeking a compassionate, trauma-informed Social Worker to provide clinical support to children and young adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). This role delivers individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and care coordination while collaborating closely with families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure consistent, person-centered support.</p> <p>Schedule: Full-time; flexible schedule in a 24/7 agency environment, which may include evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call responsibilities.</p> <p>Key Responsibilities:</p> <ul> <li>Provide individual and group counseling services </li><li>Deliver crisis intervention and de-escalation support </li><li>Develop and implement treatment goals and care plans </li><li>Collaborate with families, schools, and external providers </li><li>Maintain timely clinical documentation </li><li>Support intake, discharge, and transition planning </li><li>Participate in team meetings and case reviews </li><li>Maintain required crisis intervention certifications (PMT) </li></ul> <p>Qualifications:</p> <ul> <li>Master's Degree in Social Work (MSW) </li><li>Connecticut Social Worker Certification (071) and School Social Work Certification required </li><li>Minimum 3 years of clinical or educational experience, preferably with ASD/IDD </li><li>Valid driver's license </li><li>Ability to obtain PMT, CPR, and First Aid certifications </li></ul> <p>Work is performed in school and residential settings and may involve crisis response and physical intervention.</p> <p>We are committed to providing trauma-informed, person-centered care in a collaborative and supportive environment.</p>
