Reporting to the Facility Security Officer, the Personnel/Physical Security Associate (Skillbridge Program) will have a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the administration of security clearance and investigation systems, as well as managing physical security aspects within a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF). The associate will support various security functions and learn the fundamentals of program security.</p> <p>Application Notice</p> <p>This position is exclusively available for active-duty military personnel who are approved by their Chain of Command to participate in the DoD Skillbridge program. Applicants must be approved for up to 180 days max of internship time exclusive of terminal leave. Please note that this is an unpaid internship opportunity through the DoD Skillbridge program, and no compensation is provided by Terran Orbital.</p> <p>Key Duties and Responsibilities</p> <ul> <li>Security Clearance Support: </li><li>Assist in operating DCSA-approved security clearance and investigation systems (DISS, NBIS, SWFT, NISS). </li><li>Help initiate and process security clearances under supervision. </li><li>Support the coordination and verification of classified visits and meetings between organizations. </li><li>Aid in processing foreign travel requests for cleared employees. </li><li>Assist in documenting and reporting security incidents. </li><li>Physical Security Assistance: </li><li>Help manage the physical security of a SCIF. </li><li>Participate in regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with security standards. </li><li>Support the implementation and enforcement of physical security measures. </li><li>Training and Briefing Support: </li><li>Assist in administering required annual security training for cleared employees. </li><li>Help conduct briefing and debriefing sessions for cleared employees. </li><li>Support the preparation of training materials and guidance on security protocols. </li><li>Facility Security Clearance (FCL) Process: </li><li>Assist in the Facility Security Clearance (FCL) process. </li><li>Help ensure the facility meets all security requirements and standards. </li><li>Maintain accurate records and documentation related to FCL under supervision. </li></ul>
