This role involves assisting senior attorneys with legal research, drafting documents, responding to employment claims, and advising internal stakeholders on workplace policies and practices. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and capable of managing multiple priorities while collaborating across teams. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop expertise in employment law within a dynamic corporate environment.<</p> <p>Essential Job Functions:< <</p> <p>Assist in providing legal counsel to the corporation on employment-related matters, ensuring alignment with business objectives and risk tolerance.< Support senior attorneys in advising human resources and business leaders on employment issues, including compliance with federal, state, and local laws.< Conduct legal research and draft memoranda, contracts, and policy updates related to employment law.< Help respond to wage claims, discrimination charges, and other employment-related inquiries. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to build strong working relationships and serve as a reliable resource for employment law questions. Monitor changes in employment legislation and assist in updating company policies accordingly. Coordinate with outside counsel on litigation matters as directed by senior attorneys. Support the company's corporate compliance program, including monitoring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies. Assist with drafting, reviewing, and updating compliance policies, procedures, attestations, and training materials. Conduct preliminary compliance reviews and investigations under supervision, including document collection and issue tracking. Provide legal research and analysis on regulatory requirements affecting company operations.
